Looking Forward to Year 2409

Welcome to the Mannahatta 2409 project, an ongoing series of geo-spatial modeling and analysis projects by Dr. Eric Sanderson and the Wildlife Conservation Society.  This blog will follow the progress of the project, especially as the work relates to www.mannahatta2409.org, a website and online application for study and modeling of the Manhattan island environment.  As we write, this project is in early stages of development and is scheduled for beta release in Spring 2013.

    Hi Eric and Team,
    Given the damage from hurricane Sandy, Mannahatta 2409 seems timely to acceerate New York's adaptation to (and mitigation of) climate change. Thank you for your amazing and wonderful work.
